What the connection gives you

A statement per balance

Shekels, dollars, euros. Every Wise balance gets its own monthly statement.

A signed connection

Wise requires strong authentication for statements. AskPay signs every request with the key you created, so only you can approve access.

Pulled at the time you set

Choose a day and hour, and every month the statements pull themselves.

A bundle for the accountant

All statements are packed and sent with the month's other documents.

Supplier payments too

A supplier wants to be paid on Wise? Their Wise details are kept in the supplier file, and the payment is recorded next to the invoice.

How to connect

1
Create a personal token in Wise

Settings, API tokens. And add a public signing key per the instructions on the connection screen.

2
Paste into AskPay

On the Integrations screen, in the Wise tile. The balances show up right away.

3
Choose months and a time

Pull the last few months, and set when to pull each new month.

What happens by itself after connecting

These things run in the background once you have connected. An action that costs credits shows how many before it runs.

  • Pulls a statement per balance at the start of every month
  • Saves a PDF and a table in the Statements app
  • Packs the statements and sends them to the accountant
How much came into Wise in dollars in September?

Questions about connecting Wise

Why a signing key as well?

Wise requires strong authentication for any access to statements. AskPay signs the requests with the key you created, so Wise knows the request was approved by you.

I hold several currencies. One statement or several?

A separate statement for every balance and currency, the way Wise shows them.

How much does it cost?

The connection is free. Each statement pull is an action that costs credits, and you see how many first.

Connect Wise in a minute.
