Mercury statements, in the folder, at the start of every month.
For a business with a US bank account at Mercury, month end starts with logging into the bank and exporting. AskPay does it for you: pulls a statement per account, saves it and sends it to the accountant.
What the connection gives you
Mercury returns all your accounts. Each gets its own statement every month.
Transactions, opening and closing balances, in a format the accountant knows. PDF and a table.
Choose a day and hour, and every month the statements pull themselves.
All the month's statements are packed together and sent with the other documents.
The key is used to read transactions and balances only, and is stored encrypted server-side.
How to connect
Settings, API tokens, a new read token.
On the Integrations screen, in the Mercury tile. The accounts show up right away.
Pull the last few months, and set when to pull each new month.
What happens by itself after connecting
These things run in the background once you have connected. An action that costs credits shows how many before it runs.
- Pulls a statement per account at the start of every month
- Saves a PDF and a table in the Statements app
- Packs the statements and sends them to the accountant

Questions about connecting Mercury
Which key do I need?
A Mercury API key with read permission. Create it in the account settings and paste it into AskPay.
I have several Mercury accounts. Do I connect each one?
No. One connection brings all the accounts, and each gets its own statements.
How much does it cost?
The connection is free. Each statement pull is an action that costs credits, and you see how many first.
Connect Mercury in a minute.
Open an account, go to the Integrations screen and click the tile. No credit card.
