Integration · Where invoices come in from

An invoice that arrived on WhatsApp is filed by itself.

The supplier sent a photo of an invoice on WhatsApp? Forward it to the AskPay number, and it is read and filed like an invoice from email. No app, no sign-up for the supplier. And in the other direction, payment requests and links to customers go out on WhatsApp.

What the connection gives you

Forward and it is sorted

Every invoice that reaches you on WhatsApp, forward to the AskPay number. It is read and filed by the same rules as email.

Allowed numbers only

Add the business phones and verify each with a code. Messages from an unknown number do not get in.

Photos of paper too

AI reads a photo of a paper invoice, not just a PDF. Supplier, amount, date and allocation number are pulled out.

Payment requests on WhatsApp

The payment link to a customer and the invoice request to a supplier go out on WhatsApp, with a verification code when needed.

Same supplier, same file

An invoice that arrived on WhatsApp and a payment made through the link meet in the same supplier file.

Duplicates caught

The same invoice that arrived both by email and on WhatsApp is recognized once.

How to connect

1
Add the business numbers

In the WhatsApp settings of the Invoices app add every phone allowed to send.

2
Verify with a code

Each number receives a short verification code on WhatsApp and confirms it once.

3
Forward invoices

From now on every invoice forwarded to the AskPay number shows up in the system within a minute.

Works for you

What happens by itself after connecting

These things run in the background once you have connected. An action that costs credits shows how many before it runs.

  • Captures every file or image from an allowed number
  • Reads and files by the folder rules
  • Sends the customer the link and the verification code on WhatsApp
  • Notifies the supplier when paid, if you asked

Working…
You can also just ask in the chatWrite it in your own words. The system does it and asks for approval when needed.

Questions about connecting WhatsApp

Does the supplier need to install anything?

No. They send to you on WhatsApp as usual, and you forward to the AskPay number. You can also give the supplier the number directly.

What stops a stranger from sending invoices into my account?

Only numbers you added and verified with a code can send. A message from any other number is not captured.

Does it work with photos?

Yes. AI reads a photo of a paper invoice and pulls out supplier, amount, date and allocation number.

How much does a WhatsApp message cost?

Every outgoing message, like a payment request or a verification code, is an action that costs credits. Capturing an invoice counts as an AI read. You see the price first.
