Integration · Tax Authority and invoicing systemsYour iCount invoices issue themselves, for every payment that comes in.
A payment through your AskPay link, a Stripe payout, or a transfer marked as paid. For each of them iCount issues a document, automatically or after your approval. You only choose when and how.
What the connection gives you
A customer paid through the link? iCount issues a tax invoice receipt with the details they filled in and sends it to them.
Payouts that landed from Stripe become iCount documents on a schedule: daily, weekly or monthly.
You can have every document open as a draft to review and approve. Or let the system issue directly.
A payment that already has a document will not get another one, even if the automation runs again.
The business's bank account list is pulled from iCount, so the receipt lands on the right account.
You create an iCount user restricted to issuing documents only. AskPay has no access to anything else in the account.
How to connect
A separate user allowed only to create documents, and copy its API key.
On the Integrations screen, in the iCount tile. The key is stored encrypted server-side and never shown again.
On the Automations screen choose what to issue for, when, and as a draft or a final document.
What happens by itself after connecting
These things run in the background once you have connected. An action that costs credits shows how many before it runs.
- Issues a tax invoice receipt for every payment through the link
- Turns Stripe payouts into documents on schedule
- Skips payments that already have a document

Questions about connecting iCount
Why a separate iCount user?
So that AskPay's permission is minimal. The user you create may only issue documents, not view or change anything else in the account.
What happens if the same payment arrives twice?
Every document is linked to the payment it was issued for. A payment that already has a document will not get another one, even if the automation runs again.
Can I review the document before it goes to the customer?
Yes. Choose draft mode and every document waits for your approval inside iCount.
How much does it cost?
The connection is free. Each document issued is an action that costs credits, and you see how many before the automation is turned on.
Connect iCount in a minute.
Open an account, go to the Integrations screen and click the tile. No credit card.
