Open banking is the Israeli standard that lets a business give a service defined access to its accounts, by consent and without handing over passwords. Connect the bank and the card company, choose which accounts to link, and the transactions show up in AskPay.
What the connection gives you
You sign in at the bank itself and approve defined access. AskPay gets no password and cannot perform actions.
Tick which checking accounts and which cards to link to AskPay. The rest stay out.
Every transaction in the account shows up in the Bank transactions app: credits, debits, transfers.
Every card transaction shows up in the Credit cards app, by card and billing month.
A monthly statement is built from the transactions and joins the accountant folder.
A transfer that left the bank meets the invoice that was received, so you see what was paid and what is missing.

Choose the bank or card company and sign in with them.
Approve access and tick which accounts and cards to link.
Bank transactions and card charges show up in their apps and update by themselves.
What happens by itself after connecting
These things run in the background once you have connected. An action that costs credits shows how many before it runs.

What is open banking?
An Israeli standard, regulated by the Bank of Israel, that lets you give a service defined access to your accounts. You sign in at the bank and approve, without giving a password to anyone.
Can AskPay move money out of my account?
No. The consent is for reading transactions and balances only. There is no ability to perform actions in the account.
Do I have to connect all the accounts?
No. After approving you tick which accounts and cards to link to AskPay. The rest do not come in.
Is the consent valid forever?
No. By the standard the consent is time-limited, and AskPay reminds you to renew it before it expires.
